On the morning of Nov.10, 2016 Annual Meeting & Theoretical Seminar of Environmental and Resources Protection Law Research, Henan Law Society was held in Zhengzhou Institute of Technology (ZIT). Huang Jianzhong, vice – president &Secretary General of Henan Law Society, Wang Qun, president of Environmental Resources Protection Law Research Association, Henan Law Society, executive vice president Feng Jianxun and Zhang Jianwei, and vice president Li Xueyi, together with more than 100 representatives from Henan Province attended the meeting. Mao Jie, president of ZIT, attended the meeting and delivered a welcoming speech.

President Mao Jie extended a warm welcome to the attendees. She reviewed results of cooperation Environmental Resources Protection Law Research Association of Henan Law Society and our university. She pointed out that the meeting would be an encouragement for the education reform and development of our university. She said she would take this meeting as an opportunity to study the professional theory and research results, to improve the level of theoretical research of law in out university.

Huang Jianzhong, vice – president &Secretary General of Henan Law Society, emphasized the leading roll of Henan Law Society in uniting and organizing the leagle workers, the law workers and law enthusiasts. We should hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of "Three Represents" and the Scientific Outlook on Development, contribute to achieve the rise of Central Plains and enrich the people of Henan province.

Wang Qun, president of Environmental Resources Protection Law Research Association, reported in the meeting. The report summarized the achievements of the Environmental Resources Protection Law Research Association in the past year. He pointed the society always upheld the principle of "serving the people and serving socialism" under the leadership of the Party, put theory into practice, united the law theorists and practitioners of Henan province to carry out theoretical research and academic exchanges, to support the young legal professionals, to promote environmental and resource protection work, to provide the theory support to construct ecological civilization of Henan.

The meeting voted the new list of vice president and directors.

President of ZIT Mao Jie was elected vice president, school leaders Yang Junliang, Xue Peijun was elected executive directors, Wang Qi, Zhou Xiaoli, Li Jingjing, Zhong Yan, Guo Yan was elected director.

After the meeting, executive vice president Zhang Jianwei made a lecture entitled "local research on climate change legislation".
