On February 27th, at the invitation of Swinburne University of Technology, Zhou Chunhui, Party Committee Secretary of Zhengzhou Insititure of Technology, led a group of 5 related persons to visit Swinburne University of Technology in Australia, and Ms. Karen Chalmes, Dean of Business School of Swinburne University of Technology. Mr. Schen Robson, deputy director of the Global Vision and Relationship Center, Ms. Sona Chen, the deputy director of the Transnational Affairs Department, and David Qian, the academic director of the School of Business Cooperation in Teaching, conducted in-depth talks on cooperation between the two universities.

Stein Robertson introduced the basic situation of Swinburne University ofTechnology.Karen Chalmes introduced the situation of the School of Business.Sonia Chen gave an introduction on the international cooperation of Swinburne University of Technology and gave relevant opinions on the cooperation between the two parties. Mr. Zhou Chunhui introduced the situation in Henan, Zhengzhou. To build a university of applied technology based on the Central Plains, the world, and modernization, and to better serve the construction of Zhengzhou National Center City, ZIT strengthens international exchanges and cooperation, actively introduces foreign countries and high-quality education resources. According to the actual conditions of the two universities, the two sides conducted detailed discussions on the establishment of long-term and short-term undergraduate exchanges, post-secondary teacher training, and joint scientific research projects. They reached an agreement and determined the next step for the cooperation work plan. After the talks, under the leadership of Director David Qian, the Swinburne University of Science and Technology Innovation Research Center, School-Enterprise Cooperative R&D Center, Future Technology Center, and Library were inspected.

Swinburne University of Technology (often simply called Swinburne) is an Australian public university based in Melbourne, Victoria. It was founded in 1908 as the Eastern Suburbs Technical College by George Swinburne in order to serve those without access to further education in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Its main campus is located in Hawthorn, a suburb of Melbourne which is located 7.5 km from the Melbourne central business district.
In addition to its main Hawthorn campus, Swinburne has campuses in the Melbourne metropolitan area at Wantirna and Croydon. Swinburne also has a campus in Sarawak, Malaysia.
In 2016, Swinburne was ranked as the 61st top university in the world under 50 years old by Times Higher Education in their top 150 universities under 50 years old ranking.
